Adam Vincent Clarke

Creator / Composer / Artistic Director

Adam is an Antwerp-based composer of contemporary music. From Canada to Germany to Belgium, he is a vagabond of Canada’s east coast.

Adam draws inspiration through storytelling & folk tradition; seeking out nuances of language, instrumentation, performance style, and coupling this in his writing. He seeks to initiate a dialogue through performance and in so doing pursues work which confronts and connects, often composing with a tone of gewaltsame Schönheit (Violent beauty). His music presents distant stories, images, and vibrant abstractions of an interpersonal nature. This desire for dialogue and story led him to the world of dance, theatre, and chamber music.

Lore Borremans

Creator / Performer / Artistic Director

Restlessly driven and dedicated to physical expression, Lore seeks productions and collaborations that question body and mind with passion. In that light she has been active for several years as a performer with Troubleyn/Jan Fabre, where she toured internationally with the performances The Power of Theatrical Madness (2014), Mount Olympus - To Glorify the Cult of Tragedy - a 24-hour performance (2015), Belgian Rules / Belgium Rules (2017), and The Fluid Force of Love (2021). In Troubleyn she was further engaged as movement coach and artistic assistant for Ressurexit Cassandra (2019).

As a choreographer Lore focuses on the animalistic and instinctual side of movement as seen in the works Four Degrees of Freedom (2019), three collaborative works for the Opera Forward Festival (2022, 2018, 2017, in collaboration with Gregory Caers, National Opera and Ballet, Amsterdam) and contr ( a / o ) vers ( e / u ) s (2019) for the Antwerp Queer Arts Festival.

In the light of her company Âmok/Âmok, Lore choreographed and performed (in) the pieces contr (a / o ) vers (e / u ) s (2019), Oe ist met marraine? (2020)  and Symbiosis (2020) . She is currently creating for the company’s new work Tussen Dromen en Verdrinken (2023).

On an educational level, Lore works frequently with children, adults and adolescents, offering them an approach that stems from her fascination with how others see the world. From this curiosity, she offers her students a quest for identity during her classes
